Chili plants - a touch of the exotic
They are hot, they are mild, they are fiery, they are fruity, they are beautiful to look at, and they can be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen. Ever thought about getting chili plants home? Chili plants - so the breeding works
.Chilipflanzen need it warm and moist. If you want to grow plants from seed, you should get a mini greenhouse or - alternatively - build one yourself. To do this, all you need is a plastic sheet, which you put over the chili plant and poke small holes in it for ventilation. The temperature should be around 25 degrees, below 20 degrees the seeds usually do not germinate. After two to three weeks, the first green will appear. If the first real leaves appear next to the two cotyledons, the chili plant goes into a larger pot. We also offer suitable growing pots for this purpose. If the chili plant is already purchased from us as a young plant, it can be immediately placed in a growing pot. Chili plants can remain in the apartment all year round, but they are also welcome in the garden, on the balcony or on the terrace during the warm season. Attention: chili plants do not tolerate frost, so bring them inside in good time.
