The miracle inside a seed
Inside every seed slumbers a complete plant – with everything it needs to get started. This quiet power has fascinated people ever since they began deliberately sowing wild plants over 10,000 years ago, thereby inventing agriculture. Anyone who buys seeds and sows them themselves continues this ancient tradition – and experiences the joy of accompanying a plant right from the start.
Why grow from seed yourself?
Growing your own gives you a choice of variety no shop can offer: old, open-pollinated types, rare colours and aromas, robust rarities. You decide what you garden with – directly, and with plenty of flavour. And along the way, watching the seeds germinate is the finest test of patience all year.
Our range
At jungepflanzen.de you'll find seeds for almost any wish: crisp vegetables, fragrant culinary and tea herbs, aromatic tomatoes, fiery peppers and chillies, plus unusual exotics for the windowsill. Stored well, seeds often stay viable for several years – a small supply for many gardening seasons.
A tip to get you started
Fresh seed compost, a bright spot and even moisture are the best starting capital. Press light-germinators down gently, cover dark-germinators thinly with soil – then simply watch your garden grow.
