Packaging
To ensure that everything arrives with you as it should, we take certain precautions. Here we have compiled a brief overview of the two most important types of packaging for our items - plants and seeds.
Plants
Since we mostly send young plants and they are very delicate and tender, the plant packaging must offer all the more optimal protection and fix the plants in the right position. Despite the notice on the shipment that it is a fragile object, it often happens that during transport the packages are not exactly handled with care. In order to protect plants in the best possible way during transport, we use blister packs specially made for this purpose. Their corrugations protect the leaves, the. Ventilation channels in the foliage space ensure that rotting or drying out is prevented, and the pot with the soil is held in place by the neck of the blister. Thus, the plants are delivered in perfect condition despite the long and tedious transport route.
Depending on the variety, we also send plants in the cold months. As a rule, these are also winter-hardy.
Seeds
Pure seed orders are sent by DHL/Deutsche Post as an insured shipment with tracking. Delivery usually takes place on the next working day. We usually send our seeds in air-padded envelopes, but more fragile seeds are sent in small maxi letters. Depending on the characters and needs of the seeds, we choose the most optimal packaging for you.
